Bach’s universally known Minuet in G has been paired with the hymn tune PUER NOBIS, making for a lovely, light, and easy arrangement for handbells.

Bach’s universally known Minuet in G has been paired with the hymn tune PUER NOBIS, making for a lovely, light, and easy arrangement for handbells. The piece immediately begins with the Minuet in G theme and after a few phrases, transitions to the hymn tune in full. The “B” section of the minuet comes next, followed by a more ornamented return of the tune. Ringers will have fun with this quick and accessible piece, and it will fit well at Easter or Advent, depending on which hymn title is used.
