I'm having problems logging in! Can you help?

If you do not remember your password, you may use the Forgot Your Password feature on the sign-in page to have a new one sent to you.

If you remember your password but are returned to the sign-in page when you attempt to check out, you may need to delete your cookies. Learn how to delete cookies here. Make sure to close all browser windows after you delete cookies and reopen a new window.

For Internet Explorer (IE) Users—If you delete your cookies and are still unable to sign in, please try using another browser. If you are able to sign in using Firefox or Chrome, the problem is related to the IE cookies on your computer. We suggest you manually delete those cookies if the automated steps did not work. To manually delete IE cookies:

  • Close your open IE window(s)
  • Open a new IE window
  • Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner (or open the Tools menu)
  • Choose Internet Options
  • On the General tab, under Browsing History, click Settings
  • On the settings window, click View Files (this will open the location where all of your cookies are stored)
  • You can sort these files by clicking on the Type heading
  • Look for any cookie that says and delete it (or just delete them all)
  • Close this window and any other open menus that are up
  • Close IE
  • Reopen IE and try to sign in to

How do I submit an idea or a manuscript?

How do I submit a song or music I’ve composed?

Manuscripts may be sent to us by email or mail at the addresses provided below. Including a recording of the piece is helpful. Engraving files (Finale, Sibelius, or Dorico formats) are preferred; otherwise, a PDF or hard copy may be sent. Please include your name, address, phone number, and email address with the submission.

We do not accept manuscripts that are being reviewed by another publisher at the same time.

Manuscript submissions are reviewed on a periodic basis. You will receive an acknowledgment email or letter once your submission has entered our review queue. We hope to reach a decision within six months and will notify you. Include return postage if you would like the manuscript returned if it cannot be published.

How long will it take to get my order?  

CPH Ships orders within 2 business days from the day they are received. Depending on where you are located, will depend on the shipping time. In most areas of the United States shipping time is 3-5 business days; other areas 5-7 days. Alaska and Hawaii typically takes 10-14 business days. If you are out of town when the delivery is expected, you may request delayed shipment. Please call our Customer Service Department, toll free, 1-800-325-3040 for more information.

Do you offer discounts for clergy members or professional church workers? 

As a rostered LCMS pastor, teacher, musician, or DCE you receive a 20% discount on qualifying books, Bibles, professional books, and The Lutheran Study Bible, when purchased for personal use. The personal use discount applies for one of an item for you or your immediate family members where applicable. Any purchase(s) beyond the one item personal use will be processed at the current sale price.

Please state in the Order Notes if more than one item is for personal use and the description of that use.

Can I place an order for my church over the web? 

Yes, you are able to order online and bill your church account. Your email address is your username and the password is whatever you have set up. If you have difficulty placing an order on line without being prompted for a credit card it may be that an email address has not been linked to your CPH account number. Please call our toll free number, 1-800-325-3040 for assistance or send an email to If you have forgotten your username and password please email or call the toll free number and a representative will be glad to help you.

Can I leave items in my shopping cart and access them later?

If you are not logged in, products will remain in your shopping cart until you close your browser window. If you are logged in, our website will retain the contents of your shopping cart indefinitely.

My church is tax exempt; how can I be sure I’m not charged tax?

Please call the Customer Service Department to verify that your church's account is tax exempt. Customer Service can also link the email address that you will be ordering from to your church's account. This will ensure that all of your purchases will be placed under the church's account.

What forms of payment do you accept?

At this time, accepts Mastercard, Visa and Discover.

What are my shipping options?

The shipping options will be presented to you at the time your order is placed.  The shipping option is based on the type of item you order and the destination location of your shipment.  Typically we ship via UPS.  Normal shipment timeframe to 5 to 7 business days. CPH ships worldwide.  International shipping rates are provided upon request.

Is my information secure?

Yes. Our secure site certification is through Thawte. You may verify our SSL Web Server Certificate by looking for the lock icon and clicking it, or if you know where the web address is on your browser, it will begin with "https" to indicate that the connection is secure.

What is your return policy?

If a product is not satisfactory, you may return it within 90 days of purchase for a refund of the price of the item. Original shipping and handling charges are not refunded unless it was our error.

We ask that you return only current products that were purchased from CPH and are in saleable condition. Some seasonal products are not returnable after a certain date (such as Sunday School and VBS). Call (800) 325-3040 for more information. We accept returns on customized and personalized merchandise only if we made an error or if the product is defective. Some music CDs and software products may not be returnable, except when defective.

Downloadable items and print-on-demand (POD) items are non-returnable.

If you would like to return a purchase for a credit, please use the label listed on the opposite side of your packing slip to return the item and checkmark the primary reason for your return.
