Intended for LCMS schools, the Set Apart to Serve School Resource Kit includes a curriculum for six age levels, from early childhood through adulthood, to teach about the church, vocation, and church work from a holistic and developmentally appropriate approach. Posters, a booklet, and more supplement the curriculum so that it may foster a concerted effort to prayerfully focus on the blessings of the Body of Christ and all members of it, including professional church workers. This four-lesson curriculum can be adapted for both congregational settings for a weekly emphasis or classroom settings throughout one week.

The Set Apart to Serve initiative is a multifaceted approach to educating and supporting all individuals of the LCMS to understand the urgent need for professional church workers and the perennial task of loving our neighbor—including those who serve us all as called ordained and commissioned ministers.
