"You don’t have to be a pastor in a pulpit to speak God’s Word. Sometimes the best word spoken happens while a mother is driving her daughter to tennis practice, when two friends are having a drink, or even when you are responding to someone’s post on social media."
In Speaking Boldly: Sharing God's Word Every Day , discover ways to feel more comfortable, confident, and relaxed in speaking the truth found in God's Word to other people. As Christians, we're called to speak God's Word to one another with the help of the Holy Spirit. But we often feel we could be more confident in sharing God's Word with the people in our lives. These other people are found in our homes, at our workplaces, in our churches, and are our neighbors. Learn to speak God's Law and Gospel with boldness and love with the knowledge that it is God's Word and not our own.

Overall Good, but misinterpets parable
Overall, the book is a worthwhile read. It addresses key concerns that folks have as they bring the message of the Bible to friends and family. It does emphasize the importance and the power of the word, and the importance of speaking that Word boldly.
I can only give it 4 stars as chapters 7&8 deal with the parable of the sower of the seed (Luke 8) and he misapplies it. He does not misapply it in the same manner that I have heard many others do. Other will say that the evangelist, the sower of the seed, should only scatter seed on good soil. So find folks with the right hearts to share the gospel, or only target folks who will bear good fruit. He takes a different path where he would transform the different types of soil into good soil by speaking the proper Word of God, Law and Gospel, to that person. So if you at the right time, speak the right words they can be given an "influx of good soil."
That is not what the parable is about. This confuses the parable entirely for the Word of God is not good soil, it is seed, and this inadvertently places the pressure back on the evangelist to say the right thing lest their friend lose their faith entirely.
Overall I would recommend the book, because the examples and topics he addresses are real issues that our folks face today, and the book does a good job of equipping them to face those real life situations. Just don't think you can transform a heart into good soil, only you can do is scatter seed, and trust the Holy Spirit to work where and when He wills.
