The Growing in Faith Bible Storybook

I got this bible for my 4 1/2 year old and she LOVES it. I love it too, because although it is a storybook bible (meaning, its a condensed version that focuses on specific bible stories rather than the whole text) the text and illustrations are impressive. It is also a hardback which I feel will be much more durable. I was extremely impressed with this children's bible.

I have a very advanced reading kindergartener. She will sit and read this Bible to herself for hours on end. I moved it out of her reading nook once to put in some arch books and she found the Bible and put it back. Thank You for making this Bible, it's a hit!

I have read and used a variety of children's Bibles in the past, but this is, by far, the very best children's Bible. I initially bought one copy for review as soon as I received notice that it was in publication. After reading through the first few stories I was impressed with its treatment of the stories. I was excited to see how many of the basic stories were included; none of the stories that I felt important for my students to hear were left out. Upon my recommendation, my school purchased a class set of this book for my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade combination classroom. It is an EXCELLENT resource for teaching the faith. It contains not only the basic facts of the Bible stories but also an explanation of the story line that is in keeping with Lutheran traditions. The book is also at a perfect reading level for my students. I would purchase this book again as a gift.
