The concept of “having enough” is one that is not often experienced. If I only had more money . . . more success . . . more time . . . then I would be fulfilled. Yet even when more is attained, it rarely satisfies. It is not “enough.”
An eight-lesson women’s Bible study, Enough for Now explores the idea of “enough” through the study of Scripture—specifically the parable of the rich fool, personal stories, and practical exercises. Over the course of the lessons, women will discover how to escape the insatiable quest for more by finding their “enough” in God.

We find "enough" in Christ!
In a world where we’re continually told that we need more (more stuff, more status, more self-confidence…), it’s no wonder we wrestle with having – and being – “enough”. Enticed by promises that “more” will satisfy what’s lacking in our lives, we attempt to fill a God-shaped hole with all kinds of things that don’t fit, and we’re left longing for more. After all, how much is enough? It seems as though satisfaction stands just out of our reach. But can “more” really satisfy? Author Sharla Fritz speaks right into our hearts as she tackles this timely topic with authenticity, truth, and grace!
Through engaging stories and compelling Scripture study, Sharla provides tools that help us discover what – and how much – is “enough”. And this study doesn’t stop there. Sharla provides engaging exercises that enable us to dig deeper into Scripture, apply the Word to our lives, and “cultivate enough” through unique group activities – to live out what we’re learning together.
Learn what it looks like to rest in the God of sufficiency and His grace for you in Jesus. Receive His perfect provision, for He alone is the One who knows your needs more than you do; the One who truly satisfies your soul’s longings – for now AND for eternity. Are you yearning to learn what satisfies? Our heavenly Father has the answer. We find “enough” in Him!

One of the best Bible studies I’ve ever done
This was one of the best Bible studies I’ve ever done. Sharla does a wonderful job addressing the topic of sufficiency in a biblical and Christ-centered way. I have long been intrigued (perhaps even wistfully tempted) by the concept of minimalism, but to look at “enough” from a biblical perspective is refreshing. This isn’t a how-to manual on decluttering. It is far better. Sharla challenges the reader to see the root of the problem: covetousness, selfishness, and dissatisfaction with what God has given us. In short, sin. Through Bible verses and especially the account of the rich fool, Sharla points the reader to the only true source of contentment and sufficiency: God. There are eight chapters in the book, and a study guide to go along with each chapter. I absolutely love the verse mapping strategy she teaches. It’s a new and energizing way to look at Bible verses, and a strategy I will employ in my future devotional time. This study is well worth the time invested.

Critically necessary and needed!
So how can we “find enough” in a world that constantly tell us we need more? This question is the crux of Shara new Bible study and I thank God for it! In a world that blares we will never have enough money, possessions or beauty, Sharla consistently points to a Savior who longs for us to experience the freedom of living in contentment.
From the very beginning, Sharla puts our minds at ease that this study’s purpose is not to provide yet another 1-2-3 step plan to tack on our overcrowded to-do lists. Rather, it offers us a sturdy pair of walking shoes for an expedition through Scripture toward finding sufficiency in God.
This study’s voyage begins with assessing and confessing our broken “wanters” in order to properly discern our wants from our needs. Sharla skillfully uses Scripture memory work and exercises, thought-provoking questions and journaling opportunities to navigate us into a deeper understanding of how God desires for us to live fully reliant on Him.
This much-needed study has been invaluable in helping me find the equilibrium between “not enough” and “too much.” This study is a must read! The world will always tell us we don’t have enough. Sharla faithfully points us to our God who supplies all we need and so much more.

An incredible book that points us back to God's truth!
We all struggle with contentment. Sharla, sums it up perfectly by describing it as having a broken wanter. This book is beautifully written. Sharla is a kind and wise mentor who walks with us through the pages of this book. I love how she points us back to God's Word.
