The Garden of Eden - Create. Meditate. Restore.

Although some of the illustrations in this book look like they would be very enjoyable to color, I don't like it for two reasons: The first and most important reason is that two of the Scripture verses in the printing I received are misquoted: Psalm 104:24 (with "has" instead of "hast") and Jeremiah 51:15 (with "outstretched out" instead of "stretched out"). It is the King James Version, which many people are not familiar with, and it is in the public domain, and these are likely just typographical errors - but the Scriptures should be quoted correctly. Second, the book does not lay flat enough to facilitate ease of coloring.

I ordered this with no preview and upon it's arrival, I am a little disappointed with it. As an adult coloring book, I had wished for more true to life pictures relating to bible stories where one could choose to use either be creative and add shading and such or just color between the lines. Other than the fact that there are scriptures, this seems to be like all the other "adult coloring books" you can find at any discount store. I am giving it two stars because it has meaningful scriptures.

I am so thankful that CPH has published an adult coloring book! I thoroughly enjoyed taking my time coloring each picture while meditating on the Scripture passage connected with each one. God also brought several other passages to mind during the process. I am looking forward to using this as a new tool to teach my young nieces and nephews the stories of the Bible. Thank you for such beautiful work!
