“Nimemwana Bwana” is a Swahili text that might be considered an African “Beautiful Savior.” This piece is for SATB choir, soloist, and percussion. Simply stated, it translates as “We have seen the Lord, and He looks nice.” This can be sung multiple times and played with many arrangements depending upon the amount of percussion. This song could be used during any Sunday after Pentecost.
