Thomas Korcok

Dr. Thomas Korcok is an associate professor at Concordia University Chicago in the department of Theology and Foreign Languages. He graduated from Concordia University Ann Arbor with a BA in history. He has also received MDiv in practical theology (Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary), MPhil in religious education (University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Scotland), and his PhD in Education (Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, Holland). He has personally developed a private elementary school, which included creating a fundraising program, developing a curriculum, establishing a school philosophy, and assembling staff. His experience includes working with groups that have been interested in developing schools as well as congregations that have committed themselves to establishing academically challenging and theologically responsible schools. In his free time, Dr. Korcok enjoys white water canoeing, aviation, and downhill skiing.
