Carol Molski

It all started with a story about a dog and a young girl. That was the first story written by Carol Molski when she was in the sixth grade. The praise and encouragement of her teacher motivated Carol to continue writing. The funny thing is, she will have her first picture book published in 2009 about a dog and a young girl. Carol has kept busy with a lot of other writing projects while waiting for her dog story to come full circle. She has written three teacher resource books for Concordia, and had her own weekly newspaper column for a number of years which focused on activities for families to do together. She has also had puzzles and activities published in many magazines, including Highlights for Children and Fun for Kidz. Carol credits her family (two teenage daughters and her husband), with continually motivating her and coming up with new ideas for her to write about. Her third and fourth grade students are also a constant source of ideas, as well as “guinea pigs” for the many puzzles and activities Carol develops for her books.
