Bruce Schuchard
Dr. Bruce Schuchard is the Chairman and a professor of exegetical theology at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, where he has been a member of the faculty since 1997. His research interests include the Gospel of John, the Epistles of John and the Apocalypse of John. Dr. Schuchard earned a Bachelor of Science in atmospheric and oceanic science at the University of Michigan, and then received an MDiv at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana and received his STM the following year. He completed a PhD in New Testament studies at Union Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. In his spare time, Dr. Schuchard enjoys music, sports, and spending time with his family. He lives in St. Louis with his wife, Sheryl, and their children, Will and Lydia.
