
Kara Bratton
Dr. Kara Bratton serves as an assistant professor in the School of Education Doctoral Program at Concordia University Irvine, teaching special education, research, and leadership classes and working as a dissertation chair. Prior to her role at Concordia, she taught special education in Lutheran schools and served as the special education director for Lutheran Special Education Ministries. Dr. Bratton is an expert in the field of special education and has spent her career working to improve services in private, Christian schools for at-risk students in the areas of learning and behavior through research, practice, and providing professional development to educators at all levels.
