About the Author & Illustrator
Joni Walker is a lifelong resident of rural Whitley County, Indiana. When she is not painting or creating books, she works as a professional photographer. She was chosen to be an Indiana Artisan in 2023 for her watercolor paintings of birds, flowers, and butterflies. She spends time creating a habitat at her home for the creatures that she paints. Her dream of living in a meadow is coming true. Joni gives thanks to God for the blessings and the joy that fill her life.
