The seventh volume in the popular series by Jeffrey Blersch, this collection offers ten pieces based on familiar hymn tunes, using adventuresome harmonic language and a breadth of musical interest. As with the previous volumes, this collection includes an introduction and at least one accompaniment for each of ten hymns that span the Church Year. The introductions can be easily shortened to create brief intonations. They are also useful as short pieces for offertories and during distribution.
