In Hope Notes: Devotions for Women, Volume 2, you’ll find 45 Christ-centered devotions written by current and past presidents of the Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML). Drawing from their own experiences of faith, these women reflect on God’s Word with honesty, humility, and a deep trust in His promises. Each devotion pairs a carefully chosen Bible passage with a personal reflection and a simple, heartfelt prayer to encourage you in both everyday moments and seasons of uncertainty.

Grounded in passages such as Romans 8, Hebrews 6, and John 14, these devotions proclaim a sure and certain hope in Christ. They do not shy away from life’s realities, including medical concerns, family tensions, waiting, and doubt. Instead, they carry those burdens to the cross and point to the peace found in Jesus.

This collection grew out of a simple but meaningful practice of writing and sharing Scripture passages of hope. It continues that mission by placing God’s promises into the hands of women today.
