The second set in John A. Behnke’s popular series of Five Hymn Inspirations. This collection contains a lively mixed meter setting of “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty,” an eastern-influenced “As with Gladness Men of Old,” a jazzy setting of “Just a Closer Walk with Thee,” a meditative setting of “I’m But a Stranger Here,” and a powerful postlude on REGENT SQUARE. This set has great musical variety that is idiomatically written to fit nicely in the hands and feet.
