Bach’s HERR CHRIST, DER EINIG GOTTS SOHN from the cantata “Jesus nahm zu sich die Zwölfe.” “Come, Holy Quickening Spirit” is both light and continually moving. The second stanza is sung in chorale style, taken from BWV 96. A dual text for "The Only Son from Heaven" is also included, making this piece suitable for Pentecost or Epiphany.
