The Christ's Kids Create series combines Bible stories with craft projects that encourage hands-on learning and life-long appreciation for these Bible stories. Crafts are designed as springboards to stimulate understanding of Bible stories. These are creative ideas that engage children in discovering new ways to review and remember Bible stories. Activities and crafts reinforce learning about the sacraments, worship, God's power and forgiveness, prayer, Jesus' work on earth, and Christ's work in our lives.
Each book includes an introduction that explains how to use the book in the classroom. The project pages provide materials list, step-by-step directions, a drawing of the finished craft, and the Bible story and application. Crafts are directed by adults, but can be easily completed by children and can be readily adapted to meet the skills and abilities of the child.
