This choral gem from the Reformation features a Trinitarian prayer text by Martin Luther. Includes a chant setting (st. 1) and Walter's counterpoint-styled setting (sts. 2 and 3). The hymn melody is in the tenor part for stanza two and soprano part in stanza three. SATB. English and German texts.
