Donald Busarow has set Ralph Vaughan Williams’ DOWN AMPNEY for SAB and organ. “Come Down, O Love Divine” uses choir to sing all four stanzas. Stanza one in unison, stanza two breaking into soprano and alto, stanza three a cappella in three-part harmony, and the final stanza with a soprano descant accompanied by organ. This choral piece is appropriate for Pentecost.
