This is a set of eight variations on the hymn tune NUN KOMM, DER HEIDEN HEILAND.
“Variations on Nun Komm, der Heiden Heiland” is set of eight variations. Robert Lind has crafted each individual variation. Most of these variations are short and include one full iteration of the tune in either the manuals or pedals, sometimes passed around. These can be played together or separately to make a shorter prelude, voluntary, or postlude set. They could also be played throughout the weeks of Advent as a midweek meditation on “Savior of the Nations, Come.”
