A gentle work on the familiar English tune MICHAEL and a fanfare on ABBOT'S LEIGH.
Charles Callahan has written “Two English Voluntaries for Organ.” The first setting is a prelude on MICHAEL that is a lovely arrangement that is lyrical and solos out the cantus firmus on a trumpet stop. Fanfare on ABBOT’S LEIGH is grand and majestic. This setting changes keys from C major to A major and back. These settings can be used during the Easter season or Sundays after Pentecost.
