A lyric paraphrase of John 3:16–17 and 1 Timothy 1:15a by K. Lee Scott. This piece for SATB choir, organ, and optional violin is extracted from Scott’s Advent work "The Lord Will Come" (977284). This favorite Biblical text is particularly appropriate on Lent 2 (year A), Lent 4 (three-year), Pentecost Evening/Monday, Holy Trinity (Year B and one-year), and Proper 6 (year A).
