Ten Lies Satan Loves to Tell
Andrew R. Jones identifies ten lies Satan uses in attempt to dismantle God’s people and His kingdom.
Satan doesn't announce himself. He doesn't arrive with horns and fire. He whispers.
The Devil’s most dangerous weapon isn't brute force — it's deception. And his lies are subtle enough to sound reasonable, familiar, even true.
In Ten Lies Satan Loves to Tell, pastor and teacher Andrew R. Jones exposes the specific lies Satan uses to erode your trust in God, distort your identity, and drive you toward despair or pride. Rooted in Scripture and shaped by Lutheran theology, you’ll be able to trace these deceptions from the Garden of Eden to your everyday life. In each chapter, Jones identifies:
· a lie from Satan;
· the fear behind the lie;
· the lie in Scripture;
· the lie in the world; and most importantly,
· the truth from God.
Because the truth to every lie Satan tells is the same: Jesus, who is your Savior.
Whether you feel unworthy, alone, overwhelmed, or simply unsettled, this book will help you recognize the enemy's voice and remind you whose voice matters most.
Satan attacks you because He knows you have faith in Jesus. By identifying these (and seven other) lies, Andrew R. Jones encourages you to fight against this deceit, because Jesus has the final say.
