Seven years ago, CBS reporter Steve Hartman began to venture out around America intent on proving that everyone had a story . Last November, when the shuttle Atlantis took off from the Kennedy space center, Colonel Jeffrey N. Williams packed an extra item—an inflatable globe—that he would use to select random locations.
