You can see the large paintings of the church pastors on the upper right and left of this visual toward the front. The crucifix toward the top of the ceiling is said to be original to the time of Luther. I should mention that this is the church where the Leipzig Interim was prepared, and also the site of the student protests that were responsible in large measure for the fall of Communism in Germany and in Eastern Europe for that matter.
