Utilizing Stephen Starke’s paraphrase of the Te Deum wedded to Gustav Holst’s tune THAXTED, Mark Bender has prepared a setting of this liturgical text that may be used for festive occasions such as church anniversaries, Reformation or All Saints’ Day services, or the Feast of the Holy Trinity. This setting may be performed with organ only or with the support of the orchestra that enriches the text and tune.
