Café Sola—Coffee with a Purpose

Café Sola is a collaborative effort of LCMS World Relief and Human Care and Concordia Publishing House. The goals of this coffee initiative are to raise awareness of our neighbors’ needs and help others in body and soul. Net proceeds from coffee sales go directly to projects to care for the most needy, carried out in the name of Christ and His Gospel. For the next few months, these net proceeds will benefit the Themba Trust, a Christian non-profit organization providing educational opportunities for underprivileged youth in South Africa.

Our coffee not only offers an opportunity to help people from the poorest countries, it tastes great, too! Café Sola is perfect for home use and can also be served on Sunday mornings, during midweek Bible studies, throughout the week in the church office, and at any other fellowship event where refreshments are provided.

LCMS World Relief and Human Care works in 51 countries, often among the large percentage of the world’s population that lives in poverty. International projects supported by LCMS World Relief and Human Care include ministering to those who suffer from famine, poverty, disease, and natural or man-made disasters, while sharing the healing Gospel of Jesus Christ.
